This book covers English Law and is not for American students.

My Criminal Law professor stated that we should check out the "Q & A" book for this subject to prepare for a multiple choice section of the final exam. Although I had heard of Lexis' Q&A series, this book came up in my basic Amazon search. I had never heard of Routledge before but it looked decent and hey, I want every advantage I can get. Nowhere on the book does it say it is for English law or students. I started to get suspicious when I noticed words were spelled a little differently like "Offence" or "Defence". In addition, there were quite a few "British" sounding words in the first few paragraphs. It finally dawned on me that this book just wasn't or me. It's a shame too as it looks to be a quality book. I only give the 3 stars as a warning to others. I wish there was a way to separate the quality review from any other type of issue. If you're an American student, move along, mind the gap, and avoid the queue to get this book.

The essays are concise and to the point..a great aid for CL newbies..great structure for easy learning.. Essays r a tad long for exams conditions..but a great example.
